## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FEBRUARY 28, 2004, AT APPROXIMATELY 1145 CST, TEMCO SWIFT, N3817K, EXPERIENCED A 'NOSE OVER' DURING LANDING ROLLOUT AT ELDORADO, ARKANSAS. THE COMMERCIAL PILOT STATED THAT, AFTER LANDING, HE EXPERIENCED AN UNCONTROLLED TURN DUE TO WIND GUST. IN AN EFFORT TO CORRECT THE UNWANTED TURN HE PRESSED THE OPPOSITE RUDDER. INADVERTENTLY, WHILE PRESSING THE RUDDER PEDAL, HE APPLIED EXCESSIVE BRAKING WHICH RESULTED IN THE AIRCRAFT NOSING OVER ON THE PROPELLER. THE PILOT (THE SOLE OCCUPANT) DID NOT RECEIVE ANY INJURIES. THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND SPINNER. THE AIRPLANE IS REGISTERED TO THE PILOT IN COMMAND, BERT G. MOORE, OF SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED, AND A FLIGHT PLAN WAS NOT FILED FOR THE 14 CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS PART 91 FLIGHT. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED IN SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
