## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 3/6/04 AT APPROXIMATELY 0932 E, A CHAUTAUQUA AIRLINES, FLIGHT 4912, N971RP, RETURNED TO ROC DUE TO A LANDING GEAR MALFUNCTION. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AND TAXIED TO THE GATE WITHOUT ANY FURTHER EVENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND RETURNED IT TO SERVICE. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE GEAR PINS WERE STILL IN PLACE PRIOR TO THE AIRCRAFT'S DEPARTURE FROM ROCHESTER, NY. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED. INJURY SUMMARY NOT KNOWN BY ASI.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
