## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT DEPARTED CORSICA AND WENT TO MITCHELL (MHE) TO TOP OFF WITH FUEL. HE RETURNED TO CORSICA (D65) AND ATTEMPTED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 35. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE NEGLECTED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED APPROXIMATELY ONE FOURTH DOWN THE RUNWAY CAUSING MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THE PROPELLER WAS BENT AND THE AIRCRAFT BELLY SKIN AND FLAPS HAD MINIMAL DAMAGE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE SOLE OCCUPANT/PILOT. THE INCIDENT WAS REPORTED TO THE FAA AND THE NTSB. ON 4/7/04, THE AIRCRAFT WAS ISSUED A FERRY PERMIT TO GO TO CASSELTON, ND FOR REPAIRS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
