## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB SEA04LA053](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/SEA04LA053), Mar 21, 2004: Cessna 172E (N3950S), Raymond, WA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll resulting in the aircraft nosing over. Incorrect remedial action and soft terrain were factors.

## Other reports on N3950S (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19910212005959I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19910212005959I), Feb 12, 1991: Cessna 172E (N3950S), North Bend, OR. Pilot reported problem with instruments and unable to maintain heading and altitudes. Cleared to eugene for landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
