## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT WAS APPROACHING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 24 AT FLYING BAR H (MO2), AIRPORT NEAR SPRINGFIELD, MO. THE NEAREST WEATHER REPORTING FACILITY AT SPRINGFIELD, MO (SGF), REPORTED WINDS TO BE FROM 310 DEGREES AT 10 KNOTS, GUSTING TO 19 KNOTS. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE AIRPLANE CROSSED THE THRESHOLD AT 60 MPH AND TOUCHED DOWN HARD ON THE MAIN WHEELS, CAUSING THE AIRPLANE TO BOUNCE. THE PILOT THEN LOST CONTROL AND THE AIRPLANE STRUCK THE RUNWAY NOSE GEAR FIRST. THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, ENGINE, AND FIREWALL. PILOT INDUCED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
