## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) BEFORE BRINGING THE AIRCRAFT TO THE POCONO STROUDSBURG AIRPORT (N53) FOR AN ANNUAL INSPECTION, THE PILOT DECIDED TO CONDUCT SEVERAL TAKEOFF AND LANDING OPERATIONS AT 1N7. ON HIS THIRD APPROACH TO LANDING ON RUNWAY 25, THE PILOT WAS WATCHING A GLIDER LANDING PARALLEL TO HIM, OFF TO HIS LEFT ON THE GRASS RUNWAY. THE PILOT OF THE MOONEY BECAME PREOCCUPIED AND FAILED TO EXTEND HIS LANDING GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
