## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) NEW YORK TRACON WAS VECTORING TRAFFIC ONTO THE TEB RWY 6 LOCALIZER WHEN A STUCK MICROPHONE WAS ENCOUNTERED ON THE PRIMARY FREQUENCY. DUE TO THE STUCK MICROPHONE, COMMUNICATIONS WERE PARTIALLLY DISRUPTED, AND A LOSS OF SEPARATION OCCURRED BETWEEN N404SC, A C90 KING AIR, AND N5147D, A CESSNA 182. MULTIPLE REVIEWS OF THE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL COMMUNICATIONS TAPE PROVIDED NO INSIGHT AS TO WHICH AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED THE STUCK MICROPHONE. EACH AIRCRAFT THAT WAS IN COMMUNICATION WITH TRACON APPEARED TO BE ABLE TO MAKE OUT PORTIONS OF THE TRANSMISSIONS FROM ATC; HOWEVER, EACH PILOT ON FREQUENCY REPORTED TO TRACON THAT THEIR TRANSMISSIONS WERE EXTREMELY GARBLED AND BROKEN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
