## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON APRIL 14, 2004, MR. JAMES T. AITKEN WAS ACTING AS PILOT IN COMMAND OF GLOBE AIRCRAFT, N90354. ON APPROXIMATELY THE THIRD OR FOURTH LANDING, MR. AITKEN LANDED WITHOUT EXTENDING THE LANDING GEAR. MR. AITKEN STATED THAT HE HAD PUT THE GEAR LEVER IN THE DOWN POSITION, AND THOUGHT HE HAD SEEN A GREEN LIGHT. CONVERSATIONS WITH PILOTS WHO ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE GLOBE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM, INDICATE IT IS POSSIBLE TO PUT THE GEAR HANDLE IN THE DOWN POSITION WITHOUT ACTIVATING THE SYSTEM. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE, AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT OR PASSENGER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
