## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON APRIL 19, 2004, AT 1124 LOCAL TIME, A CESSNA 441, N441S LANDED AT ALBANY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ALB) WITH THE #2 ENGINE SHUT DOWN. PILOT PERFORMED PRECAUTIONARY SHUT DOWN OF #2 ENGINE WHILE AT CRUISE ALTITUDE DUE TO ERRATIC TORQUE INDICATION. AFTER AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING THE PILOT COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM ON THE GROUND. AFTER SEVERAL GROUND RUNS THE PILOT ELECTED TO CONTINUED FLIGHT TO HOME BASE. THIS CASE IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
