## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) MR. NOLAN WAS CONDUCTING A LOCAL PHOTO FLIGHT OUT OF PORT COLUMBUS (CMH) IN A RENTED CESSNA 152. THE FLIGHT LASTED APPROXIMATELY THREE 3 HOURS BEFORE RETURNING TO PORT COLUMBUS AIRPORT WHILE ENROUTE MR. NOLAN CONTACTED COLUMBUS TOWER TO INFORM THEM THAT HE WAS HAVING ENGINE TROUBLE AND NEEDED ASSISTANCE. THE TOWER CLEARED HIM FOR LANDING ON R/W 28R AND ON FINAL THE ENGINE STOPPED. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SHORT AND HIT RUNWAY END IDENTIFIER LIGHT. THE PILOT WAS NOT HURT AND THE AIRCRAFT ONLY HAD MINOR DAMAGE. SEE ATTACHED SHEET FROM THE AIRWORTHINESS INSPECTOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
