## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) 6-24-04 AFTER SPEAKING WITH ^PRIVACY DATA OM^ ON 6-2-04 AGAIN HE STATED A CYLINDER HEAD HAD BLOWN OFF THE #2 CYLINDER CREATING CONSIDERABLE BLACK SMOKE. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AND ALL CYLINDERS WERE REPLACED WITH THE SUBSEQUENT ENGINE BEING OVERHAULED. ^PRIVACY DAT^ STATED HE WOULD SEND COPIES OF REPAIR DOCUMENTATION TO THIS OFFICE AS SOON AS THEY ARE COMPLETED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
