## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT LANDED ON RUNWAY 9 LEFT AT HWO SAID HE BOUNCED SLIGHTLY AND THE LEFT STRUT BROKE AND LEFT MAIN GEAR DETACHED FROM THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY SURFACE AND CAME TO REST APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY ON A PARALLEL TAXIWAY. THERE WAS NO INJURY SUSTAINED BY THE PILOT AND THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
