## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT RANDAL BROUWER WITH PASSENGER ^PRIVACY DATA ^ WAS PRACTICING TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS AT 7K7 RWY 33, NORTH SIOUX CITY, SD, IN N7760K, A PA-20 AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT STATED HE CAME IN ON A LOW APPROACH AND TOOK OFF WHEN THE ENGINE QUIT AT ABOUT 100 FEET ABOVE THE RUNWAY. HE SWITCHED TANKS AND STILL COULDN'T START IT. THEN HE ELECTED TO SET IT DOWN. AS IT CAME TO A STOP, IT NOSED OVER INTO A MUD HOLE CAUSING NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND NO INJURIES TO THE OCCUPANTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
