## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MAY 26, 2004, A CE-750-750 ENROUTE FROM IND TO EVV EXPERIENCED A #1 ENGINE SHUTDOWN AT 16,000 FEET. THE CREW DID NOT TRY TO START THE ENGINE IN THE AIR. THE CREW RETURNED TO INDIANAPOLIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY TO TOWER. FIRE RESCUE WAS DISPATCHED AND MET THE AIRCRAFT ON THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AND TAXIED TO THE RAYTHEON RAMP. THERE WAS NO VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. RAYTHEON WILL CONDUCT AN ENGINE CHANGE ON THIS AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
