## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT HAD JUST TAKEN OFF AT JOT AND RETURNED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 22, A TURF RUNWAY, BECAUSE HE SAW ANOTHER AIRCRAFT FLIP OVER. UPON LANDING, THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR BROKE OFF. THE RUNWAY 22 WAS SATURATED WITH RAIN WATER. PILOT STATED THAT HE DID NOT LAND ON THE WET SIDE OF RUNWAY, BUT ON THE HIGH SIDE. HOWEVER, THE LANDING WAS HARD CAUSING THE RIGHT GEAR TO SEPARATE FROM THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
