## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FRIDAY, JUNE 23, 2004, AN RV-9A, N247SD, LANDED AT AG ALLEY AIRPORT (4NK6) IN MARION, NY TO THE NORTH, AND DRIFTED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY ON ROLL OUT. AG ALLEY IS A GRASS FIELD WITH A PLOWED FIELD IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE LANDING RUNWAY. AS THE AIRCRAFT ENTERED THE PLOWED FIELD THE NOSEWHEEL COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED OVER THE NOSE ONTO ITS BACK. THE AIRCRAFT WAS AT A SLOW SPEED AS IT ENTERED THE FIELD AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRFRAME APPEARS MINIMAL. THE PILOT SUSTAINED MINOR CUTS AND BRUISES. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
