AT THIS TIME, THE CFI TOOK FULL CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT, AND CLIMBED TO 2000 FEET. THE LEFT GEAR LIGHT WAS NOT ON, THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR AND NOSE GEAR WERE ON. THE CFI ELECTED TO DO A GEAR DOWN EMERGENCY LANDING. MR. HOLDEN STATED THAT ON FINAL APPROACH, THE CFI INSTRUCTED HIM TO KILL THE ENGINE. THE RUNWAY APPROACH WAS MADE, THE AIRCRAFT LANDED ON THE RIGHT MAIN AND THE NOSE GEAR. AS THE AIRSPEED BLED OFF THE LEFT WING DROPPED ONTO THE RUNWAY SURFACE. THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED AND THEN VEERED OFF OF THE RUNWAY ONTO THE GRASS. AFTER THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED THROUGH A SMALL RAVINE, THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP.
