## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JULY 16, 2004, AT 1738 LOCAL, A BEECH BE-35-H35, N994S, PILOTED BY MR. BLAINE TISH, MADE AN UNAPPROVED AND UNANNOUNCED LANDING ON THE CAMP ATTTERBURY AIRFIELD LOCATED IN RESTRICTED AREA R3401A NEAR EDINBURGH, IN. MR. TISH STATED HE WAS HAVING COMMUNICATION AND NAVIGATION PROBLEMS. THESE PROBLEMS DISTRACTED HIM AND HE THOUGHT HE WAS LANDING AT THE FRANKLINE, IN AIRPORT. LATER MR. TISH STATED THE PROBLEMS HE WAS EXPERIENCING WAS DUE TO HIS UNFAMILIARTY WITH THE AIRCRAFT'S AVIONICS AS HE HAD JUST PURCHASED THE AIRCRAFT. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
