## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JULY 30, 2004, AT 1900 MDT, AN AMATEUR-BUILT GLASAIR III, N30SX, OWNED BY MICHAEL NOONAN, LANDED GEAR UP AT THE BELEN ALEXANDER MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, BELEN, NEW MEXICO, WHILE ON A CROSS COUNTRY FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN HAD BEEN FILED FOR THE CROSS COUNTRY PORTION OF THE FLIGHT, BUT HAD BEEN CANCELLED PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE AND THE COMMERCIALLY CERTIFICATED PILOT WAS NOT INJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT FALCON FIELD, MESA, ARIZONA, ON JULY 30, 2004, AT 1645 MDT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
