## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PIC STATED THAT HE WAS PREPARING TO LAND RUNWAY 3. WHILE COMPLETING THE PRELANDING CHECKS HE DECIDED THAT RUNWAY CONDITIONS WERE IN FAVOR OF SWITCHING TO RUNWAY 21. DURING THE CHANGE IN PATTERN ENTRY TO RUNWAY 21 THE PIC INADVERTENTLY OMITTED THE GEAR-DOWN PROCEDURE AND FAILED TO RECHECK THE GEAR CONDITIONS DURING THE BASE AND FINAL LEGS. HE STATED THAT HE DID NOT HEAR THE GEAR UNSAFE WARNING UNTIL THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE RUNWAY.
