## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON AUGUST 4, 2004, AT 10:41 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME, THE PILOT OF A PIPER PA32R-300, N9134K, MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING AT EPPLEY AIRFIELD IN OMAHA, NEBRASKA, DUE TO A FAILURE OF THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. SUBSEQUENT INSPECTION BY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL AT ELLIOTT AVIATION, A CERTIFIED REPAIR STATION, DISCLOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR OUTPUT WIRE WAS BROKEN AT THE ATTACHMENT TERMINAL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
