## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE LANDING GEAR WAS FULLY UP WITH ALL DOORS CLOSED AND FLAPS FULL DOWN WHEN THE AIRPLANE CAME TO REST. THE PILOT STATED THAT ON THE SECOND ATTEMPTED LANDING HE HAD INITIATED A GO AROUND AND IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER THE AIRPLANE WAS FORCED TO THE GROUND. THE AIRPLANE CAME TO A STOP AT APPROXIMATELY 1000 FEET DOWN THE RUNWAY AND APPROXIMATELY TWENTY FEET TO THE LEFT OF THE RUNWAY. A CHECK OF THE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM AT THE SITE REVEALED NO MALFUNCTION BUT NORMAL OPERTION OF THE GEAR RETRACTION SYSTEM.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
