## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT WAS MAKING A NO FLAP LANDING ON RUNWAY 24 AT THE ALLENTOWN BETHLEHEM EASTON AIRPORT (ABE). ON MAKING A NO FLAP LANDING, THE PILOT COMPLETED HER PRE-LANDING CHECK AND STATED THAT SHE DID HAVE A GREEN LIGHT ON THE PANEL INDICATING THAT THE LANDING GEAR WAS IN THE DOWN POSITION. ON LANDING, THE GEAR WAS NOT DOWN AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND UNDERCARRIAGE. A RETRACTION TEST WAS DONE AFTER THE INCIDENT, AND THE GEAR WORKED PROPERLY. THE TEST WAS WITNESSED BY AN AIRWORTHINESS INSPECTOR FROM THE ALLENTOWN FSDO.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
