## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) BENJAMIN SIMON WAS THE PILOT IN COMMAND OF A DA-20-C1 AIRCRAFT REGISTRATION NUMBER N106CL DURING A FLIGHT FROM NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTY AIRPORT (F45) TO CLEWISTON/HENDRY AIRPORT (2IS) ON AUGUST 16, 2004 AT APPROX. 1900 HOURS. ON LANDING THE MAIN WHEELS TOUCHED DOWN FIRST AND THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED UP AND THEN TOUCHED DOWN WITH THE NOSE WHEEL FIRST. THE PILOT ADDED POWER, CLIMBED AND RETURNED TO NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTY AIRPORT. AFTER THE AIRCRAFT WAS SHUT DOWN IT WAS NOTICED THAT THE PROPELLER HAD STRIKE DAMAGE AND THE NOSE LANDING GEAR WAS DISTORTED. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ MR. SIMON IS AN AUSTRIAN PRIVATE PILOT THAT RECEIVED A RESTRICTED U.S. PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATE BASED ON HIS AUSTRIAN PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATE. HIS TEMPORARY CERTIFICATE WAS ISSUED ON 07/29/04 BY DON MUZZEROLL AND HIS CERTIFICATE NUMBER IS STILL PENDING. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
