## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 20, 2004, MR. ANDREW THOMAS KISZONAK, PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATE NUMBER 152265071, LANDED N1934J ON RUNWAY 36 AT BRADEN AIRPARK (N43), EASTON, PA, WITH THE GEAR UP. WITNESSES AT THE AIRPORT OBSERVED N1934J LANDING AT A VERY FAST RATE AND SLIDING ON ITS BELLY FOR OVER 1,700 FEET OF THE 1,950 FOOT RUNWAY. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD THE GEAR DOWN PRIOR TO LANDING AND COULD NOT EXPLAIN THE GEAR UP LANDING. AIRWORTHINESS INSPECTOR WILLIAM RUSH AND OPERATIONS INSPECTOR JAMES RYAN OF THE ALLENTOWN, PA, FLIGHT STANDARDS DISTRICT OFFICE, OBSERVED THE AIRCRAFT ON THE RUNWAY, THE LIFTING OF THE AIRCRAFT AND THE AUTOMATIC GEAR RETRACTION AND EXTENSION WHEN THE AIRCRAFT HAD BEEN PLACED ON JACKS. THE GEAR WORKED WITH NO PROBLEM. THE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS MINOR. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED TO A PARKING AREA AND IS AWAITING REPAIRS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
