## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE OPERATOR (PILOT) OF THE AIRCRAFT SAID THIS WAS HIS SECOND FLIGHT IN THIS AIRCRAFT. AS THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING MANUEVERED IN LEVEL FLIGHT IT STALLED AND MADE A WING-OVER MANEUVER. AFTER RECOVERY, THE OPERATOR RETURNED TO THE AIRPORT FOR LANDING. ON APPROACH TO LANDING (ABOUT 50 FEET AGL) THE AIRCRAFT STALLED AND CRASHED. THE AIRCRAFT IS REGISTERED AS AN ULTRALIGHT WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT ASSOCIATION (EAA) AND THE DESIGNED EMPTY WEIGHT OF THIS AIRCRAFT IS 238 POUNDS. INCIDENT ^PRIVACY DATA ^ IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
