## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) MESABA 3662 WAS TAXIING TO RNWY 12L VIA PAPA TAXIWAY. AT THE INTERSECTION OF PAPA AND MIKE TAXIWAYS, THE PILOT REPORTED AN INTERIOR FIRE AND INFORMED THE NORTH LOCAL CONTROLLER THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING EVACUATED. EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT WAS NOTIFIED VIA THE TOWER CAB CRASH PHONE. RESPONSE WAS IMMEDIATE. FURTHER INVESTIGATION REVEALED A HYDRAULIC LEAK CAUSING SMOKE TO FILL THE PASSENGER CABIN. RESCUE PERSONNEL INDICATED HYDRAULICS FLUID LEAKED INTERNALLY IN ROWS 13 THRU 15. ONE PASSENGER EXPERIENCED A MINOR CUT ON LEG AND ANOTHER PASSENGER EXPERIENCED AN ASTHMA ATTACK. NO PASSENGERS REQUIRED TRANSPORT FOR INJURIES. L1, R1 AND 42 DOORS WERE USED FOR THE EVACUATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
