## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2004, AT 20:08 EASTERN TIME WHILE TAKING OFF FROM RUNWAY 27 AT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY AIRPORT, AIRCRAFT N31MB A PIPER PA31T STRUCK A DEER WITH THE LEFT PROPELLER. THE AIRCRAFT WAS IN THE FIRST 300 FEET OF THE TAKE OFF ROLL. THE PILOT ABORTED THE TAKEOFF AND TAXIED TO THE RAMP. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND THE DAMAGE IS LIMITED TO THE LEFT PROPELLER, LT. ENGINE COWLING, LT OUTBOARD ENGINE EXHAUST STACK, ENGINE EXHAUST HOUSING AND LEFT MAIN GEAR DOOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
