## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING THE LANDING PHASE, THE PILOT CONTACTED THE RUNWAY (25L) AT THE HALF WAY POINT ENOUGH TO BOUNCE THE AIRCRAFT BACK INTO THE AIR APPROXIMATELY FIFTEEN FEET. BEFORE THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE RUNWAY AGAIN, THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR TOOK CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT, AND ATTEMPTED TO MAKE A GO-AROUND. THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT WHICH DRIFTED TO THE LEFT OF THE RUNWAY (25L) AT WHICH TIME THE PROPELLER MADE CONTACT WITH THE TAXIWAY. THE AIRCRAFT NOSE AND LEFT WING PITCHED UP CAUSING THE RIGHT WING AND LANDING GEAR TO STRIKE THE INFIELD BETWEEN THE RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST AT THIS POINT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
