## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT STATED THAT DURING APPROACH AND LANDING HE REDUCED POWER, AND SLOWED DOWN WITH ONE NOTCH OF FLAPS. HE ALSO STATED THAT HE FLARED TOO HIGH, AND THE AIRCRAFT DROPPED AN ESTIMATED TEN FEET TO THE RUNWAY. THE FORCE CAUSED THE LEFT LANDING GEAR ATTACHMENT TO FAIL. THE AIRCRAFT GROUND LOOPED TO THE LEFT AND ENDED UP OFF THE RUNWAY TO THE LEFT SIDE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE TWO PERSONS ON BOARD.
