## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N93600 DEPARTED PARKVIEW AIRPORT AT OR ABOUT 5:30 PM ON 10/9/04 WITH MR. JAMES WILLER AS PILOT IN COMMAND. THE AIRCRAFT OVERFLEW THE VAN AIR AIRPORT ON A PLEASURE FLIGHT. ON THE RETURN FLIGHT THE AIRCRAFT LOST POWER AND LANDED IN A STUBBLE CORN FIELD NEAR THE TOWN OF LOCHBUIE, CO. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND DAMAGE WAS LIMITED TO THE LEFT WINGTIP, THE PROPELLER AND THE LANDING GEAR. INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT ON SCENE INDICATED THE LEFT TANK WAS FULL OF FUEL AND THE RIGHT TANK HAD VISIBLE FUEL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
