## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON OCTOBER 14, 2004 AT APPROXIMATELY 17:10 PDT MR. RICHARD WALKER, ACTING AS PILOT IN COMMAND OF HIS CESSNA 170 AIRCRAFT N8019A, LEFT THE AIRCRAFT UNATTENDED WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING AT THE OROFINO, IDAHO AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT HAD BEEN PULLED OUT OF THE HANGAR AND THE LEFT WHEEL WAS CHOCKED. AFTER THE AIRCRAFT WAS STARTED IT WAS LEFT RUNNING WITHOUT ANYONE AT THE CONTROLS. THE AIRPLANE THEN PIVOTED AROUND THE LEFT CHOCKED TIRE AND PROCEEDED TO TAXI INTO N3366V, A CESSNA 172 PARKED NEAR THE HANGER. BOTH AIRCRAFT RECEIVED DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF THE RUNNING UNMANNED CESSNA 170. UNMANNED AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
