## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT STATED THAT DURING TAKEOFF HE ANTICIPATED A LEFT CROSSWIND. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO TURN LEFT AND HE APPLIED RIGHT RUDDER AND BRAKE, HOWEVER THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO TURN LEFT AND AT APPROXIMATELY 30-40 INDICATED AIRSPEED HE ABORTED THE TAKEOFF AND THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO TURN LEFT AND DEPARTED THE RUNWAY, ONCE THE AIRCRAFT LEFT THE HARD SURFACE BOTH MAIN LANDING GEARS COLLAPSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
