## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AS THE CAPTAIN ATTEMPTED TO DO A 180 DEGREE TURN (FROM SOUTH TO NORTH) ON TAXIWAY C-2, THE AIRCRAFT NOSE AND RIGHT MAIN TIRES DEPARTED THE CONCRETE AND MIRED IN THE MUD. THE CAPTAIN MADE THE TURN IN AN ATTEMPT TO ENTER TAXIWAY C-1. THE PASSENGERS WERE DOWNLOADED (NON-EMERGENCY EVAC) AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED TO THE AIRFIELD PARKING RAMP. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL ARRIVED FROM LAX TO CHANGE THE NOSE/RIGHT MAIN TIRES, AND THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR BRAKES. THE AIRCRAFT AND PASSENGERS DEPARTED FOR IT'S ASSIGNED DESTINATION ON 10/23/04.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
