## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON OCTOBER 29, 2004, AN AIRCRAFT, REIMS AIRCRAFT F406, N6590Y OPERATED BY HAGELAND AVIATION SERVICES INC. AND PILOTED BY MR. MICHAEL JAMES CALLAHAN, HAD A PROP STRIKE OF A BOX OF BOLTS, AT SAVOONGA, ALASKA. THE AIRCRAFT WAS DAMAGED TO THE EXTENT THAT IT NEEDED A NEW ENGINE PLUS OTHER ITEMS. THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING REPOSITIONED FROM ONE PART OF THE RAMP TO ANOTHER PART OF THE RAMP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
