## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON RUNWAY 08 AT THE FORT LAUDERDALE EXECUTIVE AIRPORT (FXE) ON OCTOBER 30, 2004 AT APPROXIMATELY 2100 LOCAL TIME, ^PRIVACY DAT^ WAS PIC OF AIRCRAFT N25UJ, A LEARJET MODEL LR-25, SERIAL NUMBER 215, DURING TAKEOFF ROLL, AT ABOUT 80 TO 90 KNOTS THE CREW FELT SOMETHING WRONG AND ABORTED THE TAKEOFF. AFTER THE CREW BROUGHT THE AIRCRAFT TO A STOP IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT BOTH LEFT MAIN TIRES WERE FLAT. AT THE PRESENT TIME THERE IS NO INDICATION OF THE AIRWORTHINESS OF THE AIRCRAFT AS THE AIRCRAFT RECORDS ARE UNAVAILABLE DUE TO AN ONGOING LEGAL BATTLE. ONCE ACCESS IS OBTAINED THIS REPORT WILL BE AMENDED. THIS INVESTIGATION IS NOT CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
