## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 11-06-2004 N299D WAS DESCENDING TO LAND AT 61NC (SOUTHERN COMFORT AERODROME). THE PILOT INCREASED POWER ON FINAL BECAUSE HE FELT AS THOUGH HEWAS A LITTLE SHORT OF THE RUNWAY, HE HAD NOT YET EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR. ONCE OVER THE RUNWAY POWER WAS DECREASED FOR FLARE AND LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED ON THE RUNWAY (A GRASS STRIP) WITH THE LANDING GEAR IN THE UP POSITION. THE PILOT (SOLE OCCUPANT) SAFELY EGRESSED THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
