## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 22, 2004 (ITEM 3) AT 1030 EST (ITEM 9), A L.H. RANDALL, KITFOX III, N934LR (ITEM 13), REGISTERED TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, COLLIDED WITH A MANGROVE AT PINE ISLAND, FLORIDA, WHILE ON A PLEASURE FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT IS STILL LOCATED IN THE MANGROVE AND IN INACCESSIBLE. THE PILOT (ITEM 31) WAS NOT INJURED. THE PILOT STATED WHEN HE GETS THE AIRCRAFT OUT OF THE MANGROVE HE WILL NOTIFY THIS OFFICE AND ARRANGE FOR INSPECTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
