## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PER TELEPHONE INTERVIEW WITH PILOT ON 1/06/05, PILOT STATED HE FLEW SOLO FOR ABOUT ONE HOUR PRACTICING TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS. WINDS WERE LIGHT AT BEGINNING OF FLIGHT BUT BECAME GUSTY DURING LAST APPROACH AND LANDING. STRONG GUST BLEW AIRCRAFT OFF RUNWAY DURING FINAL LANDING. PILOT DEMONSTRATED POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND ANSWERED QUESTIONS FREELY. AN OFF-DUTY SUPERVISOR/INSPECTOR FROM THIS OFFICE EXAMINED AIRCRAFT SAME DATE AND DETERMINED DAMAGE TO BE MINOR. THIS INSPECTOR ALSO STATED THAT WINDS INCREASED IN INTENSITY THROUGHOUT THE DAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
