## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT APPROXIMATELY 12:20 PM ON 12-05-2004 DURING A SEQUENCE OF "TOUCH-AND-GO" OPERATIONS, DURING TAKEOFF THE AIRCRAFT BANKED LEFT AT ABOUT 100' AGL AND CRASHED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF RENTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT WITHIN THE BOUNDARY OF BOEING PROPERTY. AFTER THE LAST TOUCH-AND-GO SEQUENCE THE PILOT REPORTED THAT HE HAD A PROBLEM TO THE TOWER. THE TYPE OF PROBLEM WAS NOT SPECIFIED. THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED FIRST ON THE LEFT MAIN SPRING LANDING GEAR AND LEFT WING TIP. THE AIRCRAFT PROPELLER STRUCK THE PAVEMENT AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME INDICATING THE ENGINE WAS TURNING. UPON IMPACT THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED APPROXIMATELY 100' AND STRUCK A JET EXHAUST BLAST FENCE AT HIGH SPEED CAUSING THE RIGHT WING FUEL CELL TO RUPTURE AND THE AIRCRAFT TO EXPLODE AND SUBSEQUENTLY BURST INTO FLAME. THE PILOT DID NOT SURVIVE. NO OTHER PERSONS WERE ON BOARD AT THE TIME.
