## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON A NORMAL APPROACH TO LANDING TO THE WEST OFF OF THE GPS ARRIVAL, THE PILOT NOTICED THE SNOW HAD BEEN PLOWED. HE FOCUSED ON THE SIZE AND LOCATION OF THE SNOW BANKS THINKING THAT HE WAS GOING TO DAMAGE HIS FLAPS UPON LANDING IF THEY HIT. AFTER LANDING, THE PILOT NOTICED HE WAS IN FACT IN THE GRASS AREA BETWEEN THE RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY AND IN AN ATTEMPT TO CORRECT, THE LEFT TIRE MOMENTARILY RODE ONTO THE TAXIWAY AND THEN BACK INTO THE GRASS. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST FACING NORTH BETWEEN THE RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
