## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT WAS PRACTICING TOUCH AND GO'S AT PAE. AFTER BEING CAUTIONED BY ATC REGARDING WAKE TURBULENCE FROM A DEPARTING JET AIRCRAFT, PILOT BEGAN TAKE OFF ROLL AT HIS OWN DESTINATION. SHORTLY AFTER BECOMING AIRBORNE, (APPROX. 10 TO 15 FEET ABOVE THE RUNWAY), PILOT STATED THE RIGHT WING DIPPED AND HE LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT BY NOT BEING ABLE TO CORRECT FOR THE RIGHT ROLL. THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE GROUND WITH THE RIGHT WING AND GROUND LOOPED. SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED TO THE RIGHT WING, NOSE, PROPELLER AND LANDING GEAR.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB SEA05CA027](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/SEA05CA027), Dec 18, 2004: Breit Zodiac (CH-601-HDS) (N826JB), Everett, WA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain aircraft control immediately after takeoff. A factor was the wake turbulence from the preceding airplane.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
