## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ^PRIVACY DATA ^ THE AIRCRAFT WAS AT 37,000 WHEN THE PILOT NOTICED AN INTERMITTENT VIBRATION COMING FROM THE #2 (R/H) ENGINE. NO WARNING LIGHTS OR ABNORMAL INDICATIONS WERE OBSERVED. IGNITION LIGHTS THEN BRIEFLY ILLUMINATED AND THE #2 THROTTLE WAS NOT RESPONSIVE. DESCENDING THROUGH 29,000 THE ENGINE ITT EXCEEDED 900 DEGREES. #2 ENGINE WAS SECURED AND AN EMERGENCY LANDING WAS MADE BY DIVERTING TO PEORIA, IL. LANDING WAS MADE WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE CREWS ARE REPLACING THE #2 ENGINE. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
