(-23) "INDUSTRIAL INCIDENT-NO INTENT TO FLY" AT 2330L ON 23 DECEMBER 04, FRONTIER AIRLINES AIRCRAFT N916FR WAS PARKED AT GATE A2, AT CHICAGO MIDWAY AIRPORT, THE GROUND AIR WAS CONNECTED TO THE AIRCRAFT, THE CLEANING CREW HAD COMPLETED CLEANING THE AIRCRAFT AND LOCKED THE ENTRY DOOR ON THEIR WAY OUT; THE CONTRACTED MAINTENANCE MECHANIC WAS IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING THE JET BRIDGE AWAY FROM THE AIRCRAFT WHEN THE ENTRY DOOR BLEW OPEN, RIPPING THE SIDE PANELING OF THE JET BRIDGE SENDING IT TO THE GROUND. THE JET BRIDGE CANOPY WAS ALSO BENT UP AND BUCKLED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED. THE FORCE WAS STRONG ENOUGH TO BLOW MAGAZINES FROM INSIDE AIRCRAFT INTO THE JET BRIDGE AREA. FRONTIER AIRLINES DISPATCHED FOUR MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL FROM DENVER TO EVALUATE AND REPAIR THE AIRCRAFT. AFTER ALL INSPECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE ACTION, THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED TO DENVER FOR FURTHER MAINTENANCE AND INVESTIGATION. UNMANNED AIRCRAFT

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
