## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JANUARY 16, 2005, AT ABOUT 1155 LOCAL TIME, IN A STATEMENT FROM THE PILOT OF N80377 A CESSNA 172-M, WAS TAXIING INTO A PARKING SPACE WHEN THE RIGHT WING TIP HIT THE RUNNING PROPELLER OF N19149. IN A STATEMENT FROM THE PILOT OF N19149, A CESSNA 177B, HAD STARTED HIS AIRCRAFT AND BEGAN TO TAXI OUT WHEN HE NOTICED N80377 TAXIING IN FROM HIS LEFT. THE PILOT STOPPED TO LET THE AIRCRAFT BY. AS THE AIRCRAFT PASSED BY THE RIGHT WING TIP HIT HIS PROPELLER. A COPY OF THIS REPORT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO OPERATIONS UNIT FOR FURTHER ACTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
