## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB LAX05LA075](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/LAX05LA075), Jan 23, 2005: Piper PA-25-235 (N6745Z), Llano, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: the pilot's inadequate preflight planning and failure to verify the amount of fuel onboard the airplane prior to departure, which resulted in loss of engine power due to fuel exhaustion.

## Other reports on N6745Z (1)
