## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ^PRIVACY DATA ^ ON FEBRUARY 5, 2005, N74264, A BELLANCA BL-1413-2 AIRCRAFT WITH A CONVENTIONAL LANDING GEAR, LANDED ON RUNWAY 18R AT THE CARBONDALE/SOUTHERN ILLINOIS AIRPORT. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT HE MADE A NORMAL TOUCHDOWN ON THE MAIN LANDING GEAR AND AS THE AIRCRAFT DECELERATED AND THE TAIL WHEEL TOUCHED THE SURFACE OF THE RUNWAY, THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT AND EXITED THE RUNWAY ONTO THE ADJACENT GRASS. THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A LANDING LIGHT FOR THAT RUNWAY AND SUSTAINED LEFT LANDING GEAR, AND PROPELLER DAMAGE AS A RESULT. NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT WERE REPORTED. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
