## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) FLIGHT WAS RETURNING FROM KISSIMMEE AIRPORT IN FLORIDA WHERE THE AIRPLANE HAD BEEN TOPPED OFF WITH FUEL ACCORDING TO ^PRIVACY DATA^ A PASSENGER ONBOARD AND LICENSED PILOT. THE PILOT ELECTED TO "BUZZ" THE HOME OF ^PRIVACY DATA^ AT 100 FEET THEN ENTERED A MODIFIED RIGHT HAND PATTERN AT FLYING BARON RANCH AIRPORT IN LEESBURG, FLORIDA. AT 250-300 AGL. THE PILOT OVERSHOT THE RUNWAY CENTERLINE AND INCREASED THE BANK TO BETWEEN 60-70 DEGREES IN ORDER TO CORRECT AND REALIGN FOR LANDING. THIS, COMBINED WITH THE REDUCED AIRSPEED (90 KTS) AND POSSIBLE OVERGROSS WEIGHT CONDITION (WEIGHT DETERMINED BY ISIS MEDICAL WEIGHT REPORTS OF THE FOUR ON BOARD), BROUGHT THE AIRCRAFT INTO AN ACCELERATED STALL CONDITION WHICH WAS UNRECOVERABLE DUE TO THE LOW ALTITUDE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ANC05FA030](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ANC05FA030), Feb 14, 2005: Beech K35 (N634Q), Leesburg, FL, substantial damage, 2 fatal. Probable cause: An abrupt maneuver performed by the pilot at a low altitude, and his failure to maintain adequate airspeed, which precipitated an inadvertent stall and impact with terrain.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
