## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD JUST PURCHASED THIS AIRCRAFT AND THE ACCIDENT FLIGHT WAS HIS THIRD FLIGHT IN THIS PARTICULAR AIRPLANE. FLIGHT STARTED WITH THE INTENTION OF PRACTICING TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS. WHILE LANDING AT WHAT APPEARED TO BE A NORMAL TOUCHDOWN, THE LEFT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED. WHILE SKIDDING IN DIRECTION OF THE RUNWAY, RIGHT MAIN GEAR AND NOSE GEAR FORKS BROKE OFF WITH THE GEARS REMAINED IN EXTENDED AND LOCKED POSITION. (-23 AMENDMENT) DOWNGRADED TO INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
