## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED THAT HE AND ANOTHER PILOT HAD MADE SEVERAL (7) LANDINGS AND TAKEOFF THAT DAY IN PREPARATION FOR THE OTHER PILOT TO GET READY FOR A CHECK RIDE. AIRCRAFT LANDED (8) AND WAS ON RUNWAY ROLLING OUT WHEN POWER WAS APPLIED TO BOTH ENGINES TO TAKE OFF. AS ENGINE POWER WAS BEING APPLIED, THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO DIP. PILOT PULLED BACK ON THE THROTTLE LEVERS AS THE NOSE CONTINUED TO SINK, STRIKING THE GROUND AND SLIDING ON THE PAVEMENT FINALLY COMING TO A STOP ON THE CENTER LINE OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT PULLED BOTH MIXTURE CONTROLS, SHUTTING OFF THE ENGINES AND SECURED THE AIRCRAFT. BOTH PILOTS EXITED THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT NOSE GEAR HAD COLLAPSED ALLOWING THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT TO CONTACT THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
